We were delighted to host our first Meet & Greet at Manor Grange which was an intimate event held at the home. It is intended to offer support to new Relatives as they navigate the sometimes daunting new Care Home Environment.
We were delighted to host our first Meet & Greet at Manor Grange which was an intimate event held at the home. It is intended to offer support to new Relatives as they navigate the sometimes daunting new Care Home Environment.
We are holding our Meet & Greet Group approximately every four weeks in the fine dining room on the First Floor, with the next group at 2.15pm on 12th Nov. This is an informal group and provides a chance to meet and chat with others whilst sharing experiences, if you have any personal questions regarding the care of a loved one then you should address these to the unit nurses in the normal way.
During the last Relatives meeting it became apparent how isolating it could be for new relatives during the Covid visiting restrictions when they saw little of the home as they went from front door to bedroom which restricted them from meeting other Relatives/Visitors.
We are pleased that this monthly group meeting is providing much-needed support, where loved ones of residents can speak to others who are going through a similar situation and feel more at ease during a difficult and uncertain time.
