What type of care do you offer?
At Manor Grange we provide residential, respite, dementia and twenty-four hour nursing care for our residents.

Our experienced and dedicated team enable us to nurse those with physical disabilities, those who require end of life care, those with high dependency needs, and those who become infirm.  We also offer respite care and can offer a pamper day ot those who wish: clients can enjoy treatments in our Hair and Beauty Salon area, and join us for a delicious home-cooked lunch, afternoon tea or evening meal.

How will you help me to settle in?
Our experienced team are passionate about welcoming and integrating each resident to their new home, and we will take as much time as you need to settle into your new home. Residents are welcome to bring personal items, such as photographs, ornaments, etc. to make your room truly your own. From the moment you arrive at Manor Grange our staff will do everything possible to ensure that your stay will be welcoming and comfortable.  We will endeavour to make your arrival relaxed and informal.
Your family and friends are welcome and may remain with you while you settle into your new surroundings.

How often are visits permitted?
There are no set visiting times and friends and family are welcome to visit as often as they want and we encourage them to become fully involved in life at Manor Grange. However, for security reasons it is helpful to know if any visitors are expected after 9pm. Family and friends can visit whenever they want, as much as they want but we do ask that if possible that family and friends can avoid meal times as it’s an ideal time for residents to socialise.

Can I bring my pet?
Regrettably, we are unable to accommodate pets.

How will I pass the time at Manor Grange?
Various social events, entertainment and activities are organised to ensure that there is always something interesting and stimulating going on. Our Activities Coordinators will support and encourage you with any hobby and shopping trips, and individual therapeutic treatments can be arranged to suit your needs.

We have strong links with the local community and offer weekly services, sing-alongs and coffee mornings at the local church. We will also work alongside other Care Homes in the local area to arrange meet ups and outings for all residents to socialise.

Birthdays are celebrated with a party and you will also receive a complimentary birthday cake. Private functions can also be arranged so you can spend some precious time with your loved ones.

What is the food like?
Delicious and nutritious meals are prepared onsite by our in-house cook and catering staff using local suppliers for meat, fruit and vegetables. Our breakfast, lunch and supper are served in the main dining room; however snacks and drinks are available throughout the day. Room service is also available on request.

All our residents have access to each of the facilities, activities and luxuries available at Manor Grange House equally, without worrying about additional costs - which is why we provide our services on an all-inclusive basis. So whether you’d like a glass of wine with dinner, afternoon tea, a shopping trip in our chauffeur driven car or a beauty treatment, it’s all included in our weekly costs.

Prior to your arrival, our home manager James Webb will be delighted to have a full consultation with you, to discuss your needs and requirements, and tell you more about Manor Grange Care Home. For those who so wish, we are pleased to offer a four-week trial stay period for you to assess our services.
