Quiz Night Launches Make A Wish Fundraising

At Manor Grange Care Home, we believe the best moments are the ones shared, and our recent Quiz Night proved just that. We had an evening full of laughter and light-hearted competition as our residents, staff, and family members teamed up to test their trivia knowledge. But this night wasn’t just about quiz questions and friendly rivalry. It marked the launch of something far more meaningful: our fundraising campaign in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Because behind every wish is a child facing an incredibly tough time—and we believe every child deserves a reason to smile, dream, and look forward to tomorrow.

A Night to Remember

The quiz was hosted by our Home Manager, Gordon, and teams were made up of a wonderful mix of residents, relatives, and staff. There were plenty of laughs, a few surprise answers, and just the right dose of competitive spirit. But what truly stood out was the atmosphere of togetherness and generosity.

Several relatives commented on how lovely it was to see their loved ones so engaged. Others said they were already looking forward to the next one. That kind of family feel is exactly what we aim to create every day at Manor Grange.

A Bigger Purpose

We’re proud to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation because their mission aligns with our values of spreading joy, creating meaningful moments, and putting people at the heart of everything we do. The money raised on the night will help grant life-changing wishes to children living with critical illness, something that means the world to many of our residents, families, and staff.
