At Manor Grange Care Home, we believe that every resident should have the opportunity to make the most of each day. Our activity programme reflects this and offers something for everyone, from those who enjoy creative pastimes to those who prefer to stay active. Residents regularly take part in seated volleyball, tennis, dancing and even cheerleading sessions, all designed to promote movement and fun in a supportive setting. For those who love to walk, a dedicated walking group meets regularly, and our cinema room is often used to enjoy point‑of‑view walking videos that allow residents to experience scenic strolls from the comfort of their chairs.
Our Well-being Coordinators tailor every activity around individual preferences and needs. Many residents enjoy crafting, baking, book club and knitting together, while others take part in our weekly Men’s and Ladies’ groups. We also benefit from wonderful community links, with visits every week from local nurseries or preschools, monthly meetups with mother and baby groups and a friendly dog social group that always brings smiles.
Loved ones are welcome to join our activities whenever they wish. Families receive the activities planner in advance, allowing them to plan visits and take part in special sessions alongside residents. Feedback is collected daily to make sure the programme continues to reflect what residents most enjoy.
