Meet Our Manager
While the world may have changed for the moment, the need for care and companionship has not, in particular when faced with isolation, loneliness and potential irregularity in care provision due to social distancing and lockdown restrictions. That is why throughout this time we have been continuing to welcome enquiries and safely admit new residents to our home.
A bit more about me
My career in nursing and care began in the 1980s. I trained in both Psychiatric and General Nursing at Bangour Hospital whilst living in Edinburgh. Following this, I worked as a charge nurse in a small Hospital in Bannockburn until the mid-1990s.
With a Master’s Degree in Disability Studies, a Certificate in Health and Safety, and a Management qualification, I've always had a true passion for residential and elderly nursing care. Safeguarding residents’ well-being and health is an absolute priority for me and I will work in partnership with residents and their families to provide excellence in care everyday.
At Manor Grange Care Home, the high standard of care on offer is complemented by the extensive range of facilities provided. Whether you would like a trip to the salon, a glass of wine with your dinner, a private dining experience with your family or an outing in the chauffeur driven car, it's included in our all inclusive price.
I want you to know my door is always open to answer any questions or concerns you may have, so please don't hesitate to get in touch if you would like a chat. You can reach me on 0131 334 6462 or via email at
