Residents With Flowers

Fun for all the Family

We recently welcomed friends, family and our local community to our wonderful home to celebrate its official opening together.

Our event was officially declared open by The Lord Provost Frank Ross who joined our care home Director Joan Fraser and our home manager James Webb to cut the ribbon.

Residents Betty McSherry and Molly Brown were both presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers by Director Paul Beaumont to thank them for being our first ever residents.

Everyone was treated to an afternoon of entertainment for all ages, including the dynamic music duo Ginny & The Tonic, a face painter for children and some truly mesmerising tricks from magician Billy Reid.

Our guests were also spoiled for choice by the magnificent buffet provided by our Head Chef Stephen Pattison and his kitchen team.

Our home manager, James Webb said, "Our official open day was a phenomenal success. It was great to see so many residents, their families and friends join us to celebrate. After seeing so many smiling faces I think it's safe to say that everyone had a lovely time and the entertainment was very well received."

"It was a really great way to celebrate the opening of the home and treat the residents, their families and the whole team to a special day. We look forward to welcoming more residents into the home as the year progresses."
