Introducing Our Home Mascot

It's not often you see a care home with its very own mascot, however Manor Grange Care Home does things a little differently. To keep things exciting in the home, we decided Manor Grange needed to employ a huggable friend - meet Mr. Bears.

Mr. Bears, as the name would suggest is a friendly mascot in the form of a bear. Mr. Bears often visits the home and does regular rounds greeting both residents and staff, and whom isn't shy of giving lots of hugs!

Mr. Bears is there to encourage residents to join in with activities thanks to Mr. Bear's contagious, positive attitude and enthusiasm. Mr. Bears is already a big hit with residents despite only being introduced as the newest member of the Manor Grange family for a few weeks.

Mr. Bears never fails to put a big smile on our residents' faces. He not only offers unlimited hugs but often provides entertainment for residents by showing off his dance moves and magic tricks. We love to see residents stimulated by Mr. Bears presence which helps to provide an overall positive atmosphere while supporting the unity aspect that Manor Grange prides itself on.
