Manor Grange are currently recruiting for a number of positions:

CARERS & CARE ASSISTANTS | COMPETITVE PAY Edinburgh Care Home, Manor Grange, are seeking to recruit Care Assistants, Carers and Senior Carers to join their friendly team. The home provides excellent standards of care for elderly residents, including those with dementia. The approach at Manor Grange is not just meeting the care needs of their residents but exceeding their expectations and ensuring their health, wellbeing and interests are looked after at all times. Your main responsibility will be to provide personal care for their residents, attending to their needs by recognising and facilitating the personal requirements of each resident. You’ll also be closely involved in the general activities of the home, and responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff members, and visitors. Applicants must have a genuine interest in working with elderly residents within a caring environment. A willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes would be ideal. Applicants should be able to communicate effectively and fluently at all levels and be comfortable working as part of a friendly team. An SVQ in care is not necessary for this post though it would be an advantage. You must either be, or be willing to become, a member of the Disclosure Scotland PVG scheme. You will be required to register with the SSSC. Full time and part-time day and night positions are available for this post with excellent rates of pay, a first-class working environment and a motivated and enthusiastic team. Your main responsibility will be to provide personal care for their residents, attending to their needs by recognising and facilitating the personal requirements of each resident. You’ll also be closely involved in the general activities of the home, and responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff members, and visitors. Applicants must have a genuine interest in working with elderly residents within a caring environment. A willingness to participate in Vocational Training courses would be ideal. Applicants should be able to communicate effectively and fluently at all levels and be comfortable working as part of a friendly team. Previous experience of working as a Senior Care Practitioner with medication administration experience and an NVQ3 in Elderly Care is required. Full time and part-time day and night positions are available for this post with excellent rates of pay, a first-class working environment and a motivated and enthusiastic team. NIGHT NURSE | COMPETITIVE PAY Edinburgh Care Home, Manor Grange, are seeking to recruit experienced Nurses to join their friendly team – assistance will be given to help revalidate exceptional candidates. The purpose built care home in Pinkhill, Edinburgh has been finished to an extremely high standard and has a host of luxurious features available to their residents including a putting green, Cinema Room and Hair Salon amongst other features. The home provides excellent standards of nursing care for elderly residents, including those with dementia. The approach at Manor Grange is not just meeting the care needs of their residents but exceeding their expectations and ensuring their health, wellbeing and interests are looked after at all times. The successful candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, be motivated to offer the highest standards of care to our residents and be interested in continuing personal professional development. Manor Grange expects candidates to be able to undertake all appropriate aspects of nursing care required in a Care Home environment. Responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for residents to ensure continuity of care. All applicants must have a genuine interest in working with the elderly and either be qualified RGN / RMN or ready to revalidate – the management team are happy to assist with the revalidation process. Exemplary communication skills are essential and applicants must be able to communicate on a variety of levels in fluent English. You must either be, or be willing to become, a member of the Disclosure Scotland PVG scheme. In return you will become part of an experienced and dedicated team led by management who really care about their residents and their staff. Personal development is actively encouraged at Manor Grange with many of our team gaining professional qualifications obtained through development in the home. Experience in care for the elderly and previous supervisory experience would be advantageous for this role but is not essential. Full-time and Part-time positions are available, rate of pay £15-17 p/h negotiable for the right candidate.
