Community Involvement in Pinkhill, Edinburgh

One area we will be greatly developing at Manor Grange this year will be our commitment to Community Involvement.

The best way we can support residents to have an active and enriched life filled with meaningful activities is to promote and encourage them to have connections within the local community. At our care home in Edinburgh, we intend to develop and roll out a program whereby residents will be supported, on an individual basis,  to attend local leisure facilities where they can enjoy activities such as keep-fit classes, hobby clubs or even adult education courses if they wish. These outings would be identified by the Well-being Team and facilitated by the Residents’ key workers.

It may well be the case that residents would like to volunteer their services to local groups such as Mother & Baby groups, we would also support requests like this.  Maureen our Well-being Coordinator is available to talk to relatives and residents regarding this topic and your ideas will be very welcome.

For more information on this or the care services we provide, do not hesitate to contact our friendly team today who will be delighted to assist you.
