Spring Planting With The Help of Carrickknowe Primary School
What a fabulous time we had when the children from Carrickknowe Primary School came to plant spring bulbs out in the garden along with the Residents.
We were fortunate with the weather as it was sunny for the activity and both residents and children worked together in achieving fabulous results.
A variety of daffodils, tulips and crocus bulbs were planted as well as some hyacinths for Christmas. We cannot compliment the children enough for their hard work, their wonderful interaction with the Residents and also being so polite and well-behaved.
When generations work together there are always lots of smiles as well as a deep sense of achievement. We're so looking forward to seeing the flowers bloom in a few months' time. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the preparation of our Spring garden.
