Staff Members Nominated as Finalists at the 2023 Care Home Awards

We are pleased to announce that two of our staff members are finalists for the Scottish Care Awards. This annual ceremony recognises excellence in independent care homes across Scotland.

Maureen, the Activities Coordinator at Manor Grange is a finalist for the category 'Ancillary & Support Staff Award' and Brogan who is a team leader at Manor Grange, is a finalist for the category 'Emerging Talent Award'.

The prestigious awards ceremony is scheduled for the evening of Friday 17 November 2023 at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow. The ceremony will be hosted by the talented Michelle McManus and Scottish Care CEO, Dr Donald Macaskill.

This marks the 19th consecutive year that Scottish Care has proudly hosted the National Care Home Awards - an event that continues to honour excellence in the care home sector.

On this memorable night, the care awards will shine a spotlight on outstanding achievements in 13 distinct award categories, two of which Manor Grange Care Home in Edinburgh has been nominated for.

Maureen and Brogan will be attending the awards evening and we wish them both the best of luck on the night! Regardless of the outcome, we are thrilled by Maureen and Brogan's success at Manor Grange Care Home, demonstrated by their hard work and dedication to their roles, helping to make a positive change to residents' lives.
